How to Build Workflows That Work Across Channels

Overview:

This Koopid How To covers the steps needed to build single workflows that work across channels, and include different paths and options to be displayed on the different channels.

Getting Started:

To build one workflow with different paths for different channels – since all can’t use the same buttons and functionality – just build a workflow starting with a conditional branch that leads to the different paths for the different channels.

Use the following Expressions for different channels off your branch node to build flows for different channels:

sms, whatsapp, messenger, facebook, twitter, twitter-dm, instagram, or koopid (for web chat)

Finding Channel Name:

If you aren’t sure which channel a certain device or workflow path is using when the workflow is triggered, add a print out message in the workflow to see how the {{input.channelinfo}​} variable is coming through when the workflow is run.
